About two weeks ago I was on my way to Denver via Chicago from Raleigh. As
my RDU-ORD flight was landing I noticed a SOO Caboose (there is a huge rail
yard near one, maybe more, of the runways at O'Hare) on one of the tracks.
I was very surprised to see a caboose that I had to look a couple of times
to be sure. It was connected to some other rolling stock but parked in a
siding or sorts.

| Down here on CSX we still use cabeese as shoving platforms. Of course everything is stripped out of them except a couple seats...for those rough shoving moves. -Harvey (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

The caboose was tucked in between the engine and the box cars. GP-{caboose}-{box car}-{box (...) (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)
