The library let us use their community room and we (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce)

Another Galloping Goose MOC coming soon

Well, I've wanted to do a Galloping Goose for a while, but hadn't gotten to it. Steve Chuck has done a kit (which I own) that is very nice, based on the passenger version #4. But that's not my favorite Goose. Working up his kit has helped me through (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Rail Racer Screamer has a body

Actually the second car hasn't been finished yet, I'm working on it now. The front is pretty much cosmetic and really serves no function. As for my modified engine I'm a bit disapointed. I set up the Rail Racer layout this evening so that I can get (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Rail Racer Screamer has a body

Just how does that front piece constitute as the second car? I know you can push your second car, but that looks pretty rigidly attached to me... -Rob - who also has his screamer built (but not skinned) "James J. Trobaugh" <james@ngltc.org> wrote in (...)   Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) Steve wouldn't do something like that. He'd actually go change the DAT file, submit it to the parts admin at ldraw.org for posting on the Parts Tracker, and let nature take its course from there. Eventually, the updated file would be released (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) actually, partsref is Steve Bliss' project, and the keywords are built in to the ldraw dat file for that part. So to add a keyword "correctly", the dat needs to be modified... to add it without changing the dat, talk to Steve, maybe he can (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Rail Racer Screamer has a body

I have put a body to the modified Rail Racer engine I have prepared for Brickfest, so it's ready to take on any chalenge put forth.
