Looks like a caboose to me.  It is named passenger wagon.  Interesting.

(...) Old sets are indeed interesting. This set seems like a universal set, I have it but not the instructions. The box shows several model, a caboose, a passenger car (whihc is the one which ws in a 1978 or 1979 catalog) and a freight/post car. the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains)
