All the discussion about Santa Fe equipment and routes got me finally
working again on a modern Santa Fe diesel locomotive.
I see this type of BNSF locomotive regularly here in Central New Mexico.
Mostly see double stacks and automobile carriers.

Here's my 6-wide attempt:

As a first go, I hope you don't slam me too hard on the errors! But, as
always, your constructive critique is appreciated.
I want to acknowledge *all* of you great modellers of USA freight
locomotives and rolling stock. Your work is extremely inspirational in my
effort. Thank you! I'm sure each of you can pick out bits and pieces that
I've "stolen". Awesome work from this forum!
Finally, a "real man's" train. ;-)
Thanks for taking a look.

PS: See my favourite mix of USA and Spanish Talgo in the USA Amtrak
Cascades set: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=13121
No, the cars don't tilt. And, according to Steve Barile, perhaps they
shouldn't tilt; too much swaying on the heavy traffic freight lines on which
the Cascades must travel.

| James, The engine is coming along well, I just noticed V3 on Brickshelf. Also I wanted to know if you have any more detailed images of the container cars that your engine is pulling? I'm working on a design myself and wanted to get a closer look at (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)
