We very much would like to see some mechs at future train shows. That was
absolutely fantastic. What amused me was how the kids just crowded around
whenever one of you took a mech off the table to show it off. The poor
train modelers didn't really know what to think of us. I heard several
people comment that this year's show was a great success thanks to the
LEGO and Brio displays, "An event that really is for kids, and didn't just
SAY it was for kids" I overheard one woman tell the event organizer.
Now all the kids that were at this year's event are going to be expecting
cool Mech next year, you know.
Plus I got to describe to a great many people how to get train sets for
their kids... LEGO train sets...

| (...) Yeah, next time we need to be sure we have a few catalogs on hand. People kept saying "LEGO makes trains??" and I would tell them a bit about them, but it would have been helpful to have a catalog on hand to show them examples of the LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.mecha)

You'll notice; dragons on the hospital, another dragon (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.mecha)
