Is this a recent thing?  I certainly hope we won't have buy 3737 kits just
to get train wheels and turns out to be just another one of the oddities
that seems to happen pretty regularly with S@H's web site.

GOD no, please be an oddity!

Sorry to break it to you, but I seriously doubt you'll ever see these again.
They sold out in Europe months ago, soon after the buffer bars + magnets.
I've been buying all 3737 wagon kits to get my wheels + buffers for over a
year now and haven't seen any replacements for either of the separate packs.

Maybe we're going to see a 10- or 25-wheel bulk pack through
LEGO Direct? :-)

You gotta believe...  Anyway, who wants an odd number of wheels?  I presume
its the 12V -> 9V conversion crowd who are really taking the hit here.
Sorry folks.

How about someone over there setting up a factor's, or a dealer ring?
Assuming the demand is there for separate buffers and wheels, the 3737 is
almost worth buying and splitting for those alone.  Offloading the base and
bogeys would then be a profit.  That's 5 separate service packs from one of
these - though obviously demand might not be in the right proportions.
