Hello All,
I am building a PRR E-6 Atlantic. It is a class 4-4-2 - I only have four of
the large wheels so my choice of prototype was limited. I am just getting
the proportions of the engine correct, then I need to get the wheels
together and able to go around curves. You can follow my progress at
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=6056. Let me know what you
think.

| Very nice, Bob! I too have built an Atlantic so I feel as if I know what you're going through (albeit a streamlined one which pulled the famous Milwaukee Road's Hiawatha passenger train). A 4-4-2 is a good choice, IMO, because it is easier to manage (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

| Bob Glad to see you putting the rims to good use! Is the boiler 5 wide? And cab 6 wide? Hard to tell, black is a pain to photograph. Instead of the rods on the linkage, how about half beams? Thanx, Mark Millère LUGnet # 525 Visit Milissa's LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) -A good choice of prototype- there is another option btw, for a x-4-x drivered engine, and that is a 4-4-4 like a F2A or F2 Jubilee of the CPR (and I think D&H also had some). F2A has steam speed record verified by Dyno. car in Canada, at (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)
