As far as individuals go, I know I have a fair amount of my town based layout-
but the best places to look are GMLTC (I believe it is currently down), The
Royal Train (beautiful!), GFLTC, PNLTC or any of the other club sites.
Although the layouts tend to only appear in a particular form once (save the
GMLTC), the ideas presented are often very good!

Tom R. of PNLTC has built several wild west modules, and trains to go with
them. I think other people have done similar things, but I haven't really been
looking (Townie that I am...Heather can attest to that!)

I'll give out my advice...see some of my earlier posts on the subject of the
best $200 lego train purchase (4565, a second hand controller, and more
straight track)

| I wouldn't consider myself a train-head(mainly because I don't have any train sets), but aftera rather informal gathering with some fellow Lugnetters recently, I find myself being 'sucked in' and becoming more interested in building a train layout. (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)
