The wheels looks like regular adventurer car hubs. I've built a train with
these wheels and they work on regular track but not over switches/points
because of the outer flange. Since the set doesn't include track, it seems to
be designed as a push along the floor model. Adding a motor would require
adding height to the trucks as the regular train wheelsets are higher than a
adventurer based truck. The motor could be used on a second car/wagon or
tender.
The adventurer based trucks are also lighter and more prone to derailment
unless the car/wagon has enough weight.
