enough.  Can you imagine how much TLC would charge for digital controlled
versions?

I don't think that LEGO would make that large an investment in the trains
line, esp. with their high stakes gamble with the Bionicrap stuff.
If you look at the photos on S@H again you'll see some show a 9V motor
fitted.  I presume you don't actually get the motor, since all the engines
are cheaper than a spare motor...
I just hope that these new trains are the same familar LEGO quality we've
come to expect. -Harvey
