| | i need help in identifing a piece. it is used on the front of 7722. there are 2 in red. they appear to be a 1 x 2 plate with something attached. (26 years ago, 20-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

Perusing the instructions, on step 2 of the locomotive instructions (page 2: (URL) ) there are two pieces added that meet your vague criteria of being a "1x2 plate in red (...)
