IMHO this electric solution is compact enough to be applied to other models,
but I cant' wait to hear your comments.


Neat.  How about using the older (1x2, but straight on) light instead?  I have
a few of them, not sure if they would work better (perhaps allow you to
eliminate one electric plate?
