  Aztecland internet controlled LEGO train

I came across this web site during an "altavista" search for "lego train". (URL) is a LEGO train controlled via an internet interface with a picture of the train layout updated every 10 seconds. I've tried it out. I'm not sure the train moved or (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

John, Didn't you originally run this on HO track? In fact I thought you ran these on an HO layout a train show? BTW how about N gauge 2 wides! SteveB (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LEGO Shelf Railway - Take 2.

I got to see this in person and it is just one of those things that make you stand there for 10 or 15 minutes wondering how you can talk your wife into letting you do this in your house! It truely is just soooo cool! SteveB (...) so (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Or the son was bright enough. Er, that is: Or the SUN was bright enough. Bright enough to warm up the ABS and bend the ladders into a nice smooth curve. Not that I would ever advocate doing that, mind you. ++Lar (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

Got NMRA? (was Re: New Interurban/Trolley model, perfect for those downtown scenes)

(...) I was never formally associated with the NMRA, although I grew up with model trains (my dad had a Marklin table layout) along side of LEGO. Never really remember seeing a LEGO train until about 1986. But as far as the NMRA goes, here is my (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) On behalf of my son, thanks:-) (...) lol Funny you should mention that-- my son was trying to create curves with the ladders this morning and wasn't having much luck;-) I suppose it would work if the radius was large enough! -John (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I think the competitions at the shows are a separate issue from the value of the organization itself. The value I see from the NMRA is exposure to the model railroading hobby as a whole, and the potential growth of our segment of the hobby, (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains.org)
