(...) Thanks for the instructions. I've made a DAT file of the model and built it. I modified the built one so that two minifigs can fit inside (but no steering wheel, unfortunately). Some people thought I was crazy for cutting the hubs however, the plan worked with No screw ups! 2 more hours in the workshop and you will see the (Maybe First) Working 4-8-8-4 Negotiate Switches/Crossings.... I have posted a preliminary scan of the boxcar I plan on sending to the PNLTC for the record breaking event. I should have better pictures up this weekend. It has nothing fancy. I was playing with a couple of my 12V engines (7735 and 7755) last night with a stopwatch. I don't have a very long stretch of straight track--only about 40"--but from my computations my average speed for both engines pulling nothing was about 2.84 (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)
