| | Help Open 12v switch track motor- doesn't switch
|

Hi, I need some help. I have a 12volt points/switch motor box that doesn't work quite right. Most of the time the motor doesn't give any audible or visual indication of the solenoid even trying to throw the switch. Sometimes, if I push the switch to (...) (24 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

Technic set 8856 Whirlwind Rescue contains(ed) the 6x6 multi-slope roof cap. Until seeing the two in the Mil. Falcon, I had sought 8856 for that single piece. Failing to find the 8856 set, I look forward to getting a Falcon for these pieces alone. (...) (24 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

Also not to nitpick, but the part that's available in the 5978 is the 6x6 dual-low-slope roofcap, not the 6x6 multi-sloped roof cap--there's a difference! Both are much sought after by us trainheads, though (well, at least those of us who haven't (...) (24 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.trains)
