John, You just can't be satisfied with 6 wide, can you? I was thinking about your caboose and it needs windows. Since you probably don't have access to Gary Istok's collection of windows, you could make some 1x1 looking windows by using the 1x1 (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

(crossposting lugnet.trains for broader appeal?) I am justing getting into Lego trains myself and also looking for local Twin City activity in this area. (URL) At the time, I suggested that someone get a cheap HO trainset and combine it with LEGO since the 4Wide is almost perfect HO scale! This is (...) Hey man, Your models are really cool! Nice proportions and clean lines. I liked the use of the "corrugated" bricks on the boxcar ends. In a sort of related vein, (as far as mixing lego & non-lego components goes) I was wondering if anyone builds (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
