| (...) That would be me, like Jenn said they use the spring things from 4559. They hold up pretty well. They DID stop my GP-35 at full throttle(1). | (...) Actually, they are quite prototypical...just not typical installation on the end of a siding. They are used in places where you _cannot_ allow the train to procede onwards, such as dead end stations. Take a look at a photo of say Euston (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
