  Re: Automatic decoupler designs?

GMLTC had a design for uncoupling, and there have been others posting here speaking of this. Not much hard info is available on the GMLTC design in terms of pictures, but it uses horizontal prying, as you suggest. The idea of a switch engine with an (...)   Automatic decoupler designs?

LEGO train knuckles don't lend themselves to decoupling. Has anyone got a good design (either as part of a switch engine or fixed to the track) design for an automated separator? I'm close to an in-engine (but very ugly) solution which can pry a (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: RCX onboard timer and motor pulsing

(...) I was just experimenting with this a few days ago. An RCX using PWM does a far better job of driving the LEGO train motors than the simple variable voltage from the LEGO train control. You can make a train creep around just above stall speed (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.trains)

dressed up a couple of links

Since the yahoo/geocities page merger, I wasn't able to edit one of my geocities pages until now. I've dressed up a link or two. Including links to my Daylight train. Matt so kindly added a link on lugnet.trains to this page, so I thought it best (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Call for Discussion - Northern CA Lego Train Group

Attention all LEGO Train fans: It looks like there might finally be enough people in the San Francisco Bay area now that have the train addiction to get an actual LEGO Train Club going. I would like to propose getting an official train club put (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.loc.us.ca)
