I am new at this. I have some 4531 switches (points) that are from LEGO. The main line is always powered. The side line is only powered when the switch is thrown to that side. looking at the MOC in this thread it seem that another tpye of switch is (...) (17 years ago, 3-Mar-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) It is really nothing spectacular. Yes, there are 2 RCXs (one running LDCC and the other one having sensors and sending readings to the PC). Thanks for posting the video, it is pretty impressive. Are you using two RCXs in this layout, one controlling the trains with LDCC and the other for sensors? What type of sensors are you using? How about adding some photos showing the hardware (...) (17 years ago, 25-Feb-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

My son was given the Hogwarts Lego train a few years ago which I added the 9 volt wheels to. I built up some extra coaches and it has done hundreds of laps around my layouts.
