I have just taken the plunge this year to get a train, and now have the problem of acquiring enough track. Is there a good way to get track? Short of calling S@H that is. Are there regular auctions that include track? Is there a way to get track and (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

Hi all, Just a reminder the Greater Florida LEGO Train Club will be at Great American Train Show in Tampa December 18th and 19th. This will be our first outing as a club and we havent had much time to work on the layout. But I think it should be a (...) (...) Well, actually, I'd tend to disagree. By the onset of the civil war, many locomotives had switched to the 4-4-0 wheel arrangement and had much longer boilers. Since the leading truck supported the smokebox, most of the boiler would be out from (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

Sorry about the last "blank" post... had too much coffee this afternoon... (...) Yes the drive wheels on the locomotives are made with stacked pulleys, with rubber "tires" from the Twisted Time Train keeping it on the rails. One side has 3 pulleys (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
