I bought a 4559-Cargo Railway on 122398 for $77.90 (orig $129.99... 40% off) They had 14 of them at 09:46, I told my friend—he was there within an hour and they (...)   Re: New MOC Engine: DB V140

(...) Wow. Any flaws I could mention would only detract from a magnificent model. But you know me, here they are. :-) Every single one of these is due to a limitation of the media. 1.   Re: running trains with RCX

(...) Yes. I was powering the RCX from the train speed controller wall wart. (...) Dunno. It did not seem to. I would not use multiple train motors as a load, though. (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.trains)

  New Work Train questions

Does anybody have one yet, or are they backordered until July '99? Is it "Train, Jr." (is the undercarriage only one piece)? How well does the platform stay horizontal when in the raised position? And, how come so many of the New For '99 sets/kits (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.trains)

  Hacking Lego Loco (especially postcards)

I've been playing with Lego Loco and have figured out how to change the text of postcards and the names of the characters (all in the art-res/postbag/Eng/easter subdirectory, btw). I'd like to be able to change the pictures on the postcards and (...) (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.trains)
