Re: Missing R/C Trains on Lego.com and AFOL "Dream Train Set"

(...) That does seem odd, but I don't think it means much other than LEGO's got there web site messed up somehow. The IR Remote controlled trains are still on sale in the LEGO store in Burlington, MA. (Just my humble opinion as an outside observer.) (...) (18 years ago, 26-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Question for you knowledgeable Train-heads

(...) Well, I've always suspected that it's a sort of mnemonic code, like "Ring a Ring of Roses" or "The Pied Piper of Hamlin." As for the "working without pay" bit, I fear that many of the bottom-rung "employees" did exactly that, alas. (...) Of (...) (18 years ago, 26-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Missing R/C Trains on Lego.com and AFOL "Dream Train Set"

(...) (snip) (...) I'm one of the 10 AFOLs who's working on that project so I guess I can explain things a bit. Yes, this project is still in developement and should be released in March 2007.   Missing R/C Trains on Lego.com and AFOL "Dream Train Set"

Happy Holidays Everyone, Does anyone know what is going on with the R/C trains (7898& 7897) on LEGO.com? If you do a search for trains there is no mention of the R/C trains. You can only find them if you know the correct set number or search using (...) (18 years ago, 26-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Question for you knowledgeable Train-heads

(...) Well, confession is good for the soul, but I'm curious as to what exactly you have learned from these sources, Dave! Some possiblities from "I've Been Working On The Railroad": "I've been working on the railroad, all the live-long day" (a job (...) (18 years ago, 26-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: From the TCLTC Proving Grounds....

(...) Hello, Dean- Light sensors. We have found that a solution based on timing rarely works out in these applications because there are too many variables which muck it up. Check out these images to see how he did it: (2 URLs) Funky, indeed:-) JOHN (18 years ago, 26-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: From the TCLTC Proving Grounds....

(...) ABSolutely! First, just to be clear, I have nothing to do with the Mindstorming in our club-- it is all done by my son Ross (except acquisition;-) He made a couple of images for me to post that should help you see how he's doing it: (2 URLs) (...)
