  Re: GP-38 MOC

(...) How about some deep links until the folder is made public? Mike (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod)

  GP-38 MOC

I know that TLC is coming oout with a BNSF version of this. And that Jake has a version in his train book. But I wanted to do one myself. I had started by building the one in Jake's book. Then I went online and found several great sites for (...) (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod)

  BWBrickCon™ 2004 Draft

As hinted at earlier, we are going to have a Draft! Okay, so what IS a Draft? It is an event where everyone brings one copy of the same (unopened) set. We open the sets, sort the pieces into piles and take turns Drafting the piles of pieces. The (...)   Re: Thomas Train

(...) Well, I disagree. In fact, I'd bet that a LEGO Thomas would easily outsell (URL) set 10020> which IIRC is the most popular selling LEGO train ever. Make the Thomas set a numbered, limited edition one, and look out! JOHN (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Thomas Train

(...) Considering how many different Thomas train systems are out there right now, I dont see that "yet another" would succeed in the marketplace... (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Comcast On Demand & Thomas

(...) Cool! That would be excellent, Tim! Funny, one can't really even gauge scale from having seen the videos (I personally thought that they were closer to LEGO scale), but gauge 1 is larger. I actually own a gauge 1 Thomas (and James), although (...) (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Thomas Train

(...) Thanks for the info, Russ. Hey, you should drop Mike a note so he can update it on the ILTCO site. JOHN (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Thomas Train

(...) lol Well, I never claimed that a few of them might not be pure;-) Actually, those are faces (Thomas and Percy) from 2 wind-up Ertl trains I "borrowed";-) They are the perfect size, and they served to calm the cherubs at train shows who would (...)   Re: Comcast On Demand & Thomas

(...) I remeber reading an article in the British magazine Model Railway Constructor about the production of the Thomas the Tank Engine series. My dad still has the magazine so next time I visit I'll see if I can scan you a copy. The model were (...) (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
