  Chessie Caboose

I guess I should post this to RTL first, but I thought I'd try it hear... On PNLTC, there's a Chessie Caboose. I'm guessing that stickers were used on the caboose... Now, I've just recently gotten into trains (so I know very little and next to (...) (26 years ago, 6-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

(Now it's okay...) Hi Larry! Glad you could make it! (...) <snip> (...) From Tom McDonald Anti-spam block in place. (URL) what you can, but behave yourself. We'll have more, right after this. (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.sea, lugnet.trains)

Caboose designs (was Re: Seattleites Unite! :)

(...) There are two cabooses done by Steve Barile on the PNLTC pages. They, and the "caboose" in the new TLG set are 2 axle. This is pretty rare for american prototype practice, most are 4 axle. I think mine captures the US prototype look fairly (...) (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.sea, lugnet.trains)

(...) Todd, where can I upload some more scans of ZNAPS? I have 6 huge scans, apparently from a different catalog. -- jthompson@teubner.com "Float on a river, forever and ever, Emily" (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Here are some pictures that Paul Wolters scanned from a LEGO catalog from the Netherlands: (URL) sure does look like some of these pieces would be great for train bridges. --Todd (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: ZNAP

Pardon my ignorance, but what are ZNAP. It's been a few weeks since I have read the RTL posts. Do you have pictures? - Irving Javier Ramos wrote in message <3613BB4E.603C@in.th...essage>... (...) (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

  ZNAP

I just got a box of that new ZNAP and I was wondering if somebody has already given to it a railroad application. They look much better than technic for building metallic-riveted-looking structures, lets say a bridge. Javier Ramos Wageningen (the (...) (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Seattleites Unite! :)

(...) But it was a great success. My son is now convinced that he NEEDS a Lego train. That makes arguing with my wife a lot easier. If it's just something I want, I can't get it into the budget. But is 2 out of 4 (maybe even 3 out of 4) want it, (...) (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.sea, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Seattleites Unite! :)

(...) It seems like we spent more time picking up trains in the kids' area than anything else. The kids over there loved putting bricks on the tracks to see what would happen... grrrrr! I love kids... in very small numbers. I can handle maybe two (...) (26 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.sea, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Seattleites Unite! :)

(...) I spend more time there than in line for the truck and inside it. It's incredible what those guys came up with. Did you see the steam engine that Dan made? It used his new larger wheels. Very impressive. It did derail, caused by some kids that (...) (26 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.sea, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Newsgroup for PNLTC

(...) Oops, my fault -- I forgot to set the 'Followup-To:' header in that article. (...) That's REALLY odd. Because it's not in 'active' here on the server and doing "telnet lugnet.com 119" and then "list" -- it doesn't show up. I'll bet you're (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Newsgroup for PNLTC

(...) Hrm.... Follow-ups don't seem to be working. It never gave me the option to post to build.trains only (...) clubs.trains.pnltc does not appear to be deleted from the newserver. I'm still getting it when I refresh my groups list. Sarah Heacock (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.trains)

(...) Nope :( I have an OCt 1 deadline for a writing club I am in and didn't take the time away to go over to Seattle Center. I'm in paranoid-about-meeting deadlines mode :) Sarah (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.trains)
