I never thought I'd live long enough to hear that. But the other thing I wonder if I'll ever see is John's site displaying the said boxcar. ;-) -Tom McD. when replying, most postmen will not deliver to a house with a spamcake guarding the porch. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 8 wide? was Re: Box Cars

Very gracious of you to say so, Lar. Thank you...I think. All of this talk about the dark side makes me feel like Darth Wider or a Girth Maul;-) BTW Lar, what is keeping your pants up these days?   Re: Invitation to my new train site

(...) Just some friendly advise, It would be a good idea to capitlize the word LEGO on your site. I also hope that you capitlized the word LEGO in your letter you sent. Dave (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: Invitation to my new train site

Nice work. That is a very simple solution to the decoupling problem. Most other attempts (add this is what I was thinking of doing) pry the cars appart.   Re: What are the most valuable Service Packs?

I doubt this pack is really all that rare, but one of my favorites is the 5071 Large Wheel Set. This set contains two red locomotive wheelsets of the style that comes in the 7750 12V Electric Steam Locomotive (and as far as I know, only in the (...)
