(...) No, sleepers are European for ties. Flangless drivers are called "blind" drivers (since they can't "see" where they are going and depend on other drivers to lead them aright), at least in US practice. (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

Mighty impressed, congratulations are due. I think i may have to steal that idea for my future narrow gauge tank locos! (built to technic fig scale), at the moment I have been limited to locos with a four wheeled bogie (truck) at the front or back. (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Help required

Just a few notes about the playmobil tires. They do fit around the large red wheels. (not the small ones on 7740) Sorry for the confusion. I have fitted them on my 4-4-0 that uses these wheels and they seem to work good. Maybe even to good, now my (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Adrian, Congratulations to you and the rest of the SCLTC crew. Train shows are a blast. The layout give the impression of a number of interesting buildings.   Re: Train MOC

(...) Well, it vaguely resembles just about any "safety cab" road switcher of recent vintage from EMD or GM. But only vaguely as it's pretty short. The radiators (at the back) look slightly more EMDish but not much. (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains)
