  Re: Station platforms

(...) Dunno about anyone else but I tend to go with somewhere between 2.1 (two bricks, one plate) and 3.0 in thickness. This is just a bit more than the large platform units used by LEGO in many train and ocean sets and made in grey and dark grey. (...) (23 years ago, 17-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

CMLTC/CMLUG Calling all St. Louis area AFOL's

As before I am still trying to start a train/users group in Saint Louis area. Currently I am hampered (gratefully) by my wife’s Pregnancy problems. Hi. I'm just wondering how high people usually make their station platforms? I mean, assuming the track is sitting on a baseplate (not pushed down), how many plates to the top of the platform? I realise it depends on the trains, but is there a (...) (23 years ago, 17-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

(...) Well it's not REALLY slow, like, say, the PNLTC site on a good day when it's running as fast as it can, but it's not as snappy as BrickShelf is. (23 years ago, 17-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)
