I'm thinking of adding a new section to my Lego collection... Trains!!! I can see great potential in a Space / Train / Mindstorms cross-over. So my question is - Monorail vs. Standard - What's the -real- difference? I know that a while ago Lego (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

hi, I have seen that people have bought 4561 sets for only $25 bucks at some stores Mint in the box. Does anyone have just the 4561 Train for sale? I just need the engine car, and the two passenger cars. Thanks. Joe (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Yep, it's the 'sand red' bricks, with grey and black highlights. (highdarks?) Ricky used a bunch of the bulk packs that I bought - before I even had a chance to use them! <pout> I think I'll ask him "how are you going to get my bricks out of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) The tall building in the back, does it use the 'sand-red' bricks? I whave been wondering what they looked like, the shop.lego.com pictures look too pink for my taste but in that building it looks great! Is there a set that uses that colour or (...) The grain elevator/silo is 64 bricks high (just over 3 feet). I just started with a baseplate and worked out a circle as best I could and then worked my way up. I believe it is over 6000 bricks, but I didn't count. "MARK PETERSON" (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)
