John, Your Hiawatha is great. I am going to need many more curved bricks before I can try a streamliner. As for the front truck, I thnk I am going to try the small red spoked wheels. The front truck will need to swing under the pistons on curves. (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

Mark, The rims are great! I was very exited when I saw the package in the mail. (...) The boiler is 5 wide and the cab is 7 wide - that averages to 6. Black is tough to photograph - it does not help that I amd using an old digital camera. I will try (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

Very nice, Bob! I too have built an Atlantic so I feel as if I know what you're going through (albeit a streamlined one which pulled the famous Milwaukee Road's Hiawatha passenger train). A 4-4-2 is a good choice, IMO, because it is easier to manage (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)
