| (...) Kevin, Does the real metro rest that high on its trucks or are they inset more into the frame of the car? I think this model would be very cute if it were "Legoized" and made half as long...realism is one thing, play value and practicality (...) | (...) The GMLTC has received three awards that I can remember: First Place (blue ribbon) at a GATS show in St. Paul, Minnesota. "People's Choice" at the La Crosse, Wisconsin show (1999 ?) | In hopes of completing a long term project in the next few months I was wondering if the members of various train clubs could post if the club layout recieved an award at a show (GATS, Greenberg, etc) and which show it was. | (...) The three roundhouse tracks and the turntable each have separate leads (can't have locos moving in concert) and thus take one switch each. Color coding is used to tell which switch controls what. The 5th switch is the turntable motor itself. (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)
