I don't understand how re-releasing these sets is bad for anyone. If you're a collector, you'll want the original set with its original box. The Legends packaging is distinctly different from the original packaging. Also, many Lego pieces are (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

I'd probably be interested in all of them, as I was working on a 25-car Metroliner (I'd split it into 2 trains normally), and wanted a variety of cars. Good point. The 6691 Monorail Transport Base is Space/Unitron, and the 6399 Airport Shuttle is Town/Flight yet both are monorails - similar to trains (i.e. bi-rails?). I was planning to release some custom craftmans kits for the Metroliner. But now with the pending release of the Legend version, I'm not sure it will generate more or less of a demand. Actually, I'm just happy that LEGO@ has revitalized the trains line. I consider myself to be a 'player' rather than a collector. While I do pay a high sum for MISB sets, I open them all and build these (with modifications, of course). But my motto (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)
