  Re: Pic: New Green Building

(...) Ah, excellent, a philosophical argment. Recall, if you will, that I've been getting TRAINS since 1970, and it was only recently that I let my Model Railroader subscription, started in 1969, lapse. So I'll see your "model railroading (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Pic: New Green Building

(...) Well, it is more of a philosophical argument, really. I am coming from more of a model railroading POV, where buildings are merely facades and it's all about *external* appearances. Then there are those in the club who build a building, (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: what is the rarest train set?

(...) Hi, Well, it depends on what serie you look at. I saw recently a 7750 for around $2500! And IMO the rarest is the 118 (sold not too long ago for $550) This set was produced in very small quantity. The 7710 is hard to find and the 7725 is HTF (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: what is the rarest train set?

(...) Not really - 4558s without boxes have been going for $200 or less lately. I've seen ones WITH boxes for right at $200. I won my last Metroliner on Ebay for $160 INCLUDING shipping from Germany to the US. He packed it in a nice plastic tub (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: what is the rarest train set?

(...) Agreed. And I would argue that while 600 USD is a lot for Airport shuttle, it's only 3X. Maybe the rarest is not the "most expensive" but the one that has "went up the most, relative to original price..." By that metric it's probably some (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Help

Does anyone have a spare sticker sheet from set 3225 ? As I am a perfectionist when it comes to placing the stickers on, I sometimes put it off. Such that I have lost the sticker sheet to this train set that the late Gary Louie sent me. Can anyone (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) 45;-) (...) But is usually more impressive.... (...) Well, the chateau is agreeably too large, but this green one is one of my *biggest* buildings. I'm tired of minifig scale (you know, buildings with no rears, etc). Now that we (GMLTC) are (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

(...) What about 7745 & 7725 (i still havn't found 7725 on e-bay to see how much they are running at). Josh (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: what is the rarest train set?
