(...) Lar, Having exibited at most of the major Toronto Train shows ("The Railway Show", GBTS, The Hobby Show, Ourlands), I can assure you that if they were going to a show, they would be paid. It's more like a private gathering (at least, that is (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Whoa! You guys are *paying* to exhibit trains??? !!! You're in the wrong venue!!! Train exhibits should be at shows where you get *paid* to be there. They are a huge draw at the for profit shows, and they will pay you for the help (I do (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.trains.org)
