  Re: German Trains, 1930s and 40s ??

Actually, that would be great. It's exactly what I'm looking for - if it's not too much of a pain, it would be greatly appreciated! thanks, shaun (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: TeenLTC?

(...) Hey uncalled for. Your the one swearing and acting like a two year old. Lugnet is not a place to insult people and if you do purposely insult someone you BETTER have a really good reason, really good reason not just "shut the heck up already (...)   Re: subway info?

(...) HO. I've always considered getting that LRV model. One of my friends in high school was a real subway fan and his model railroad actually was a transit layout, complete with a subway station. He told me of exploring the nether reaches of the (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: subway info?

(...) I haven't been on quite everything. I've never been on the Mattapan Extension, or even down to Ashmont. I think I've just been as far as Quincy Adams (I used to have a friend in Quincy, but I don't think the line even extended all the way to (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: subway info?

(...) There was a Train store in the Natick Mall that at one point had an small-scale (I don't know all the train scales, I want to say this was HO but that could be wrong, I think N is the tiny one, right?) Green Line trolley. I was so taken with (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: subway info?

(...) I don't notice much graffitti on the subways in NY. Next to none, I think. The Welcome Back Kotter days are over as far as that is concerend. They've really done a good job cleaning that up. There is graffitti in the tunnels though. But none (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: subway info?

(...) Note that even with the wide swing they still loose contact between the trolley poles and the electricity. Actually I have seen this quite often, usually the bus just costs to the side of the street and the driver gets out and there is a wheel (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Old spareparts

Such sets as wheel sets and red bogieplates aren't availible, only motors, points, trakcs, light bricks a.s.o. And, no, there are no doors or windows! So any highpriced items are not availble. I myself need motors, electric inserts, wires and (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: subway info?

(...) So's Rainman... what's your point? :-) I dunno if it's actually true though. I haven't met a Boston driver I couldn't beat through a squeezedown (think the merges on old I 93 coming into downtown, or the merge shuffle to get to the callahan (...)   Re: subway info?

(...) It took me a minute to realise you meant Charles/MGH. :D That intersection isn't *that* bad. You just have to learn how to drive in Boston, that's all. We're all really good drivers here- perhaps you're just not up to scratch. eric (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)
