hey all,

i’ve been building my theater for a while now so i figured i’d show you what i came up with for the windows.

this window is pretty straight forward as it’s all studs up minus the detail on the very bottom, the only tricky bit was filling in the space between the 2 arches. that was done with a 1x2 plate with a 1x1 technic brick. i still need to paint the arches grey but i thought someone might make some use of this idea.

this window is mostly snot construction but the center 2 windows are studs up. the the side windows are held in place with a 1x1 technic brick over the window which also ties the window and the divider “brown” together.

now for the helpppp

i am currently building the bay window pictured below. i have the window built but i am drawing a blank for the roof because of the 45deg angles. anyone have a solution or idea to help me out?

thanks,

ondrew

(...) Hi Ondrew, Both windows look great. I saw them on brickshelf late last week and was very impressed. I can't wait to see the theater completed. I am sorry to hear you have to paint the arches. I have been looking at the pics of the June 2007 (...) (18 years ago, 23-Apr-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) There are a number of possible solutions that would occur to me were I building it: 1) Don't build it. Look for a stylistically similar prototype easier to render in LEGO. 2) Cheat. No-one (except us) knows the original, so either build it (...) (18 years ago, 24-Apr-07, to lugnet.town)
