  Re: Mobile Command

Hi Steven Brilliant as usual! I really like the tractor and the part of the trailer that slides out. I think what I miss most is ... MORE PICTURES! :^) I am still anticipating the launch of your website - I am teasing but also hoping. Keep building. (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Air Tractor

Here's something a little alternative. The AT-802 Air Tractor. Used in crop spraying, firefighting amongst other things. It is also my first successful float plane build. (URL) I am thinking that it might suit a Heliport by the harbour kind of town (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Dirk MacGrean in his Dark Green racer

(URL) As dark green probably is the closest to britsh racing green this must from Great Britain. As I am working on another racer in ordinary green I have chosen to give it a Scottish driver, Dirk MacGrean. It's not modeled after a specific vehicle. (...)   Re: Mobile Command

(...) SNIP (...) WOW! I saw this on Bshelf the other day & was floored. What piec(es)did you use for the chrome fuel tank on the cab? I've been impressed with all your Lego apperatus' MOCs for a long time, & this ups the ante on the caliber of your (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Mobile Command

I finally finished work on a new (URL) mobile command> center for my Lego fire department.   Re: Small town building reference

(...) Thanks! And thanks for helping me with protocol - I know nothing about this stuff. Time for me to get reading up on BrickWiki. Peace and Long Life, Tony Alexander (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Re: Small town building reference

(...) And thank you for adding a link to it on your page. I've added a link back to the page to provide credit. Since BrickWiki is meant to be more of an encyclopeadia it is unusual to credit the information provider but since I nicked the (...)   Re: Small town building reference

(...) Tim, Excellent! I like your link organization (AFOL/other resources) better, and love the idea that anyone can add their own link! I did think it important, though, to credit those who provided 'other resources' links as much as possible, as (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Re: Small town building reference

(...) --SNIP-- (...) Hi all, I have somewhat duplicated Tony Alexander's (URL) over on (URL) BrickWiki>. My reason for doing this was to have a page where we could edit and add the links ourselves. (URL) Brickwiki page> Please note that anyone can (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: "He who walks behind the rows..."

Re: Carriage House --2nd town contest entry

(...) It's the escalators down. That's one big advantage of CAD, you can go places no decent camera can reach. (...) I think his first was in the collapsed portion of Lugnet and is probably disconnected from everything. I agree with you though, it (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Carriage House --2nd town contest entry

(...) Crikey! I can barely tell what I'm looking at:-) You bring up a good point, though. Is there a single place where all of the entries can be viewed? Jonathan mentions that his Carriage House is his second entry.... I seemed to have missed the (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Carriage House --2nd town contest entry

(...) This is excellent feedback, John. Thanks! My main goal is realism and your method and reasoning will add to what I want to accomplish. I think I am a pretty good builder and don't want my pictures to detract from the actual creation...I want (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: TD custom registry

X-posted to .town (...) Hi, Track Designer is well known and still a very popular software to design layouts, mainly amongst LEGO train fans.   Re: Carriage House --2nd town contest entry

(...) Yes, but I'm also talking about angles from below, not above. It is almost universal that AFOLs photograph their MOCs from above, which is okay, but if one is trying to convey elements of realism, then there should be pics from a minifig (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Carriage House --2nd town contest entry

(...) Thanks, John. I have put a couple of angle shots in the folder here: (URL) You're right, the angles give it a better presentation. For this building, I don't think I'd be able to get any pictures in natural light. It is in the middle of my (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: several new things

(...) This small air-speeder is HOT! It's a wonderfull MOC, full of character. I love it! I've been playing with this set when I bought it, I think it's one of the best parts selection I've ever had. JP. (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
