  Re: Knight's Tent

Great MOC! I like the over-all scale of the tent, a hard thing to get right! My only question would be why he still has armour after a loss? ; ) God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (19 years ago, 6-Nov-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, FTX)

  beach layout at parlugment's railfair

as you may have seen in previous posts, parlugment, ottawa's lug, participated in railfair on october 15-16. as part of the group, my contribution to the layout was mostly restricted to a beach area opposite the port. it's all right, i didn't mind (...)   Re: Major update to my vehicle folder.

(...) That is a shame. I've been trying to build your yellow prime mover, and keep having problems with the under carrage. Keep up the great work. Aaron (19 years ago, 1-Nov-05, to lugnet.town)

Re: Gottwald AMK 1000t mobile crane

I Disagree. Many models *require* a high resolution pic to properly view all of the details. If hi-res and low-res are available that's fine, but I for one am tired of seeing great models and layouts ruined by low-res junk pics. "Ross Crawford" (...)   Re: Gottwald AMK 1000t mobile crane

(...) Hi Ross, sorry about the picture size, I did not even think about this problem. I will look at resizing them. Sorry everyone. My father in law is a machinist, so he fixed the Bushing issue. He also made a metal shaft that fit the size of the (...) (19 years ago, 27-Oct-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.technic)

Re: Gottwald AMK 1000t mobile crane

(...) Hi Jacub, that's a really nice crane! I especially like the support vehicles you built for it, really makes it complete. Is the jib held on with rubber bands? Nice simple idea! Did you drill out the centre of the 1/2 bushes so they rotate (...) (19 years ago, 27-Oct-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.technic)

  Gottwald AMK 1000t mobile crane

Here is a mini fig scale Gottwald AMK 1000t mobile crane. There was only one of these ever built. This Lego crane uses 2 micro motors, one running the main hook, and the second running the hold back line for the jib. The counter weight is made up of (...)   Re: 2006 New Town Sets Sneak Peek

  Re: 2006 sets

(...) I agree. When I saw these new planes I felt thoroughly disappointed and uninspired. My hunch is that they're looking to put a 5+ age rating on the box. And if that's the case, I can't blame them for thinking they have to juniorize something. (...) (19 years ago, 7-Oct-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: 2006 sets

(...) Agreed. But is there a point where the pieces are so large and so specialized that it loses the creativity? That plane nose reminds me more of Playmobil than an open-ended building toy. (URL) -Steven (19 years ago, 7-Oct-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, FTX)
