PS: I’d also love some advice on how to get an actual picture in the text of
this posting - I’m sure its beyond simple and I’m just missing something.

When you make a post and you want to add a picture, you need to go to the top
where it says “format” (under the subject) and click on “formatted text (FTX)”
then you can use the FTX guidelines to the right side of the window you are
typing in to add links pics or play with the text.
So in this case you would take the deep link address of the pic on Brickshelf
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jpelletier1977/Omicron/omicronsenate05.jpg
and place it within double less than << and greater than >>
As I have taken the liberty to do so here....

(20 years ago, 10-Jan-05, to lugnet.announce.moc) !!
