  Courthouse

Hi folks! Those of you who went to Brickfest earlier this month may have seen my Courthouse in the Train/Town room. It was completed just before I went to Brickfest, and won 1st place in the Structures category in the Train contest. I've finally (...) (20 years ago, 1-Sep-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  lighting wish-list?

As you may have seen in my other post, I'm getting into adding lights for my town models. I'm also an electronics hobbyist, and I have a bunch of bright LED lamps that I'm starting to think about working into my LEGO models. But if I'm going to go (...) (20 years ago, 31-Aug-04, to lugnet.town)

  How to hide the wires?

My son and I made our first lighted model today -- we have an open-back model of a split-level home, and the basement was rather dark and dreary, so we added two standard 9V light bricks on the supporting columns at the back, facing into the room. (...) (20 years ago, 31-Aug-04, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Car Information

(...) You're talking about real-life car dimensions, right? Just go to the car manufacturer's website, select the car you're curious about, and it should list the dimensions under the Specifications section, or something with a similar name. -Bryan (20 years ago, 30-Aug-04, to lugnet.town)

I am wondering if they are all flat or if they have a border of studs? Are they typical abs or softer? For uses, I (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.inv, lugnet.sports, lugnet.town)

  Re: Let there be light

(...) Thanks Joe! They are standard LEGO 9v lights, running off a train regulator. BTW...does anyone know how many lights you can safely run off a single regulator? I still have the other building to light up Tom D (20 years ago, 22-Aug-04, to lugnet.town)

  Re: UPDATE: New locomotive pricing

(...) 25% is a far higher rate of VAT than you actually pay anywhere in Europe. Tax considerations do narrow the price difference, but there's still a difference. There's also the problem that the dollar is pretty weak compared to the Euro, so if (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.general) !
