| (...) After carefully and thoroughly considering the question, I am of the opinion that it doesn't matter. Coolness trumps wideness, and this is pretty dern cool. I want one for my own fantasy minifig-me. (...) All I know is it wouldn't be a Purple (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jul-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

|
| (URL) I haven't ever seen a minifig-compatible Prowler MOC, so I made my own, and I figured it'd be as good a place as any to put a minifig version of myself* (wishful thinking, on my part, but what the heck?). I'm interested in hearing opinions on (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.people, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

| Hello, After way to much ranting, I decided to take some of Spencer R's advice and work on some building. While I do have a new building that I am working on (and several bricklink sellers know that it is full of tan and technic gears) this note (...) | Personally, I am happy to get the 1x2 with groove since I always need more of that part, especially in black/dark grey/other dark neutral colors. (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.town)

| Oops, I guess I answered part of this. The 2x2 brick with pin has a hole that they can put this technic axel in that runs through the 2x2 round bricks. Quite unnecessary, IMO, since those hold together very well without the extra support, but again, (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.town)

| Hi all, I just picked up set 4851, Spider-Man Origins, and it's a great set. I found a couple of interesting piece choices that didn't make a lot of sense, and wondered if anyone had any idea why they did this. On step 9 of the instructions for the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.town)

| Greetings John Paul. I'm glad to finally put a name to the folder. I think your project is great and I look forward to seeing more. You're not alone as far as army collecting. My genre is military sci-fi however. See you at Brickfest. (20 years ago, 17-Jul-04, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

Although I never saw that post of his, I did get the feeling that there was no way a sane person would try to make an army that big... with exception of megalomaniac-ish army builders like myself. :-D Anyhow, I saw that other pic with the (...) | (...) Heh. Did you miss where he admitted it was all just an April Fools joke? He does still have a pretty impressive force built up, but the photo he posted was photoshopped from somewhere between 10-20 different reposed shots. | My alternate timeline and near-future military theme called: "Conflict Zone - Global Crisis" is slowly being built and put together. With this many factions, its no wonder why.
