Oops, I guess I answered part of this. The 2x2 brick with pin has a hole that
they can put this technic axel in that runs through the 2x2 round bricks. Quite
unnecessary, IMO, since those hold together very well without the extra support,
but again, I'm happy to have a couple of extra technic axels as well.

| Hi all, I just picked up set 4851, Spider-Man Origins, and it's a great set. I found a couple of interesting piece choices that didn't make a lot of sense, and wondered if anyone had any idea why they did this. On step 9 of the instructions for the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.town)
