| | Spider-Man Origins, 4851
|
| Hi all, I just picked up set 4851, Spider-Man Origins, and it's a great set. I found a couple of interesting piece choices that didn't make a lot of sense, and wondered if anyone had any idea why they did this. On step 9 of the instructions for the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.town)

| Greetings John Paul. I'm glad to finally put a name to the folder. I think your project is great and I look forward to seeing more. You're not alone as far as army collecting. My genre is military sci-fi however. See you at Brickfest. (20 years ago, 17-Jul-04, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

| (...) Although I never saw that post of his, I did get the feeling that there was no way a sane person would try to make an army that big... with exception of megalomaniac-ish army builders like myself. :-D Anyhow, I saw that other pic with the (...) | (...) Heh. Did you miss where he admitted it was all just an April Fools joke? He does still have a pretty impressive force built up, but the photo he posted was photoshopped from somewhere between 10-20 different reposed shots. | My alternate timeline and near-future military theme called: "Conflict Zone - Global Crisis" is slowly being built and put together. With this many factions, its no wonder why. (URL) I've just gotten up pics of my G.I.L.F. (Global Islamic Liberation (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming, lugnet.town, lugnet.space)
| | | | "Blue" pieces in new Alpha Team set #4742
|
| I recently saw the new Alpha Team Chill Speeder set #4742 [LEGOSet 4742] I looked up the set on Peeron, and it said that the blue pieces are the Medium Blue shade. The pictures on the box really look like the Dusty Blue shade (called "Sand" Blue by (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jul-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.color, lugnet.town, FTX)

| | | | Spiderman MOC: Poor Man's Doc Ock
|
| I couldn't find a Spiderman newsgroup, so this seemed the most logical place. I don't own any Spiderman sets, because I don't have lots of money. But I really liked Doc Ock after seeing Spiderman 2, so I made my own: (URL) currently adorns the wall (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.town)
