Hey all,
It's been a while since my last post. Well, on to the review.
The basic facts:
rating:4 stars
what I like: orange minifig,orange SCUBA gear,no juniorization,cute design
What I don't like:no steering wheel
overall set:
This a great set, mostly because it isn't juniorized at all. It comes with an
orange minifig and orange flippers as well as a dark grey oxygen tank. It's a
small dune-buggy type design. It has a tow hook on each end. The tow hook on the
front end is free while the back tow hook holds a pair of flippers. Another hook
is above the back tow hook that holds the flippers and that hook holds a dark
grey oxygen tank. The oxygen tank is just the basic divers-type piece, nothing
new. It also has one of those handle pieces you see on jetskis, but no steering
wheel. This the only thing keeping the set from achieving five stars.
The minifig has an orange torso with dark blue arms as well as orange hands. The
pants have an orange pelvis and dark blue legs. The head has a face similar to
the male one included with the werewolf ambush set, but without the
freaked-out,scared face on the back. It also includes a dark grey helmet with a
black visor. It's a very cool minifig.
later,
Joshua

| (...) You might want to revise your rating, then. It's not a dune-buggy. It's an oversized quad-runner, and quads always have motorcycle-style handlebars instead of steering wheels. A steering wheel would have been as out of place on this as it (...) (21 years ago, 29-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)
