  Re: A San Francisco Victorian

(...) Hey Roy, Great job! You managed to get quite a lot of detail in a small space. I really like the use of the arches (Fabuland? Harry Potter?) on the front porch! I can't wait to see more detailed pictures! Bill (21 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  A San Francisco Victorian

Hi all, I've completed a small, but pretty detailed, version of a San Francisco Victorian. I used (URL) this picture> as a starting point. The results will be (URL) on Brickshelf> once moderated. Until then, here's a teaser pic: (URL) And a (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

Well I finally made it home, and here's my contribution to the pile of photos: (URL) me if there's way too many crane shots, but I think you all know where my priorities lie by now ;) Enjoy!   Images of GFLTC at the SMRC Show

Train Fans, The members of the Greater Florida LEGO Train Club had a display and a great time one again at the Sarasota Model Railroad Club Train Show last weekend (Feb 21-22, 2004).   Re: World City question

(...) Yes, set 7045 has the old greys - but strangely enough, set 7046 Fire Boat, which was supposedly issued at the same time, had all new greys, except from the small turntable piece, where the center was in old light grey!?! Arne, Copenhagen (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

  Re: World City question

(...) The set was released in 2003 and is listed on Lego.com as such. The set I bought had the old grays and unless another run is produced the set "should" haved the old grays. Buy now before its too late. (add overly dramatic music here) Mike (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

  World City question

Anyone know if the World City hovercraft set has the new greys or old greys? I remember it was announced just before someone found the new greys in a set and posted to Lugnet (thus starting one of the most heated debates in Lugnet history :) (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

Re: A wine rack I made today

(...) Yeah, that was something I wasn't happy about with my idea, but I figured it wouldn't be so bad if you made sure the hollow-up tiles were covered with conveniently-placed wine bottles. Fortunately, it's actually possible to leave open (...) (21 years ago, 25-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Pictures and Show report COLTC at GATS Cincinnati

Last weekend COLTC participated at the Cincinnati GATS. We were given very little time to organize this, GATS called us just two weeks before the show, they wanted more layouts. Less than a handfull of members could attend, but we had just enough (...) (21 years ago, 25-Feb-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.oh, FTX) !

I got lost at BrickFest PDX...

Please help me - I got lost and accidently hitched a ride back from BrickFest on Matt Chiles' roller coaster, but now I want to go home...   Re: New window frames or train windows?

(...) Awww, good point. I never put it together that the piece was a train window since all of mine have the little doors in them (for containers and such), but yes it basicly is a train window frame. jt (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 4 Wide Monster Truck

(...) That's really cool. I'm glad this model passed the kid test. It is fun driving it over the lego pile and seeing the suspension working.
