  Re: World City question

(...) Yes, set 7045 has the old greys - but strangely enough, set 7046 Fire Boat, which was supposedly issued at the same time, had all new greys, except from the small turntable piece, where the center was in old light grey!?! Arne, Copenhagen (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

  Re: World City question

(...) The set was released in 2003 and is listed on Lego.com as such. The set I bought had the old grays and unless another run is produced the set "should" haved the old grays. Buy now before its too late. (add overly dramatic music here) Mike (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

  World City question

Anyone know if the World City hovercraft set has the new greys or old greys? I remember it was announced just before someone found the new greys in a set and posted to Lugnet (thus starting one of the most heated debates in Lugnet history :) (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

Re: A wine rack I made today

(...) Yeah, that was something I wasn't happy about with my idea, but I figured it wouldn't be so bad if you made sure the hollow-up tiles were covered with conveniently-placed wine bottles. Fortunately, it's actually possible to leave open (...) (21 years ago, 25-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: New window frames or train windows?

(...) Awww, good point. I never put it together that the piece was a train window since all of mine have the little doors in them (for containers and such), but yes it basicly is a train window frame. jt (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

New window frames or train windows?

Take a look at this image of the new HP Shrieking Shack: (URL) windows are not the same 1x4x3 windows we have seen as the nub on the outside corners are missing. Either these are train window frames installed backwards or they are a new window (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.town)

Allister, This was a fun build! I had to tweak things a bit to get it to work with my collection, but it is still true to your awesome design. I love the blend of technic and standard pieces.
