(...) snipped.. You are right! I knew there was a part like that, but while I was building the pallet mover, I had one of those moments where I couldn't envision the part I needed. I was sitting and thinking "I know there is a good handlebar (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Small freight station aka uses for droid fighter wings

I like your pallet mover: (URL) I think the handlebar would look better if you use the space handlebar for this: (URL) be able to use this part, you can inverse the stud direction by placing a pair of Technic Pin 1/2's (URL) in the (upside-down) (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.town)

Small freight station aka uses for droid fighter wings

Hi all, After seeing a building at BF2002 (yes, 2002) that used droid fighter wings for a roof, I thought that was a neat idea. After over ayear, I finally got around to building something. It's a small freight transfer station, like you might find (...) (21 years ago, 10-Nov-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Re: The 1592 "Lionheart" Minifig Sticker Set

Hi Anthony, Wonder job on the torso and shield. I know many of us have wanted to print these out as stickers for a long time. They look excellent. Ben (21 years ago, 8-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: LEGO > SYSTEM > Town > The Times

Love it! Can I pre-order #1951 & #1952 to go with the cool Ford Anglia I got in the Privet Drive HP set? Thanks for a great premise. Ted (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: MOC: Citroen DS (7 studs wide)

(...) Hello Thomas, the grey plate at the bottom corners of the rear window is a 1x2 plate. It is attached like that: (URL) And yes, the "windscreen" is framed by minifig screwdrivers.   Re: New MOC - Farmer Meyer's Trctor

(...) That is really cool. And I'll add a 'me too' and say the discs are awesome. I have been hoping LEGO would make a farm theme for the past 16 years. If you plan on building a farm to go with it this set makes a great source for silo domes. (...) (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New MOC - Farmer Meyer's Tractor

(...) That sprayer is awesome! I mean, I like both the tractors (especially old reliable) but that sprayer is where it's at. It's such a simple design yet it still captures it perfectly. (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: LEGO > SYSTEM > Town > The Times

(...) Okay, here's my contribution. I'm not sure how many pieces I used, and I tossed it together pretty quickly tonight, so it could probably use some refinement. I really like the record store idea, so I ran with it. (URL) imagine all of the (...) (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: LEGO > SYSTEM > Town > The Times

I was amazed the other night that there are details in the Bill and Mary story I never saw before. Granted I looked most at the castle bits, and the wheel falling off scene, but.. There appears to be an arsonist in their garage. Take a look. It's (...) (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Neat idea, one thing though... (...) This should really be set #1969, and rather than a computer shop it ought to be a bunch of minifigs in lab coats (over UCLA T-shirts or something) and those Clark Kent black-rimmed glasses, wearing pocket (...)   Re: LEGO > SYSTEM > Town > The Times

(...) Right, right, right....I got it already! The set numbers being years *MIGHT* be a bit confusing. People would definitely associate them with the year these things are actually happening.   Re: LEGO > SYSTEM > Town > The Times

Hi, Dave. (...) These MOCs sound really cool, but I keep clicking on the descriptions and the links don't seem to work! What gives? Surely the top story on LUGNET couldn't be a post about hypothetical MOCs that don't really exist! I'll just keep (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)
