(...) Thanks Tim. I'm sure I've seen pneumatic hoses used in a similar way before, but I can't think where. I've seen so many great building ideas in the past year it's impossible to keep track of them all. Isn't Lugnet great? :) Cheers, Allister (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

(...) Nice work! I'm a bit concerned about the colour choice... IIRC 98.3% of tradesmen's utes are white! ;-) The dropsides are inspired, and the compressor is a masterpiece of minimalist design. Hi all, We've had a builder in over the last few weeks renovating our house. He did a fantastic job working around our crooked old house, and I knew he has a five y.o. son, so as a bonus 'payment' I made a version of his ute and trailer (complete (...) Duane Hess has a nifty vault-style door here: (URL) scale-up of this might be the way to go. A few other spacers have come up with similar doors (sorry, no links), so poking around on Brickshelf should help too. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.town)

| | How to build a good vault door?
|

I'm trying to build a bank for my city, but I'm running into trouble with building a vault door. I want the door to be the classic round vault style. I'm using 8 4x4 quarter round tiles for the door and arch bricks to make the door frame, but I (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-03, to lugnet.town)

Ladder 9-2 is that way cause the Fire Hall (#9) has 2 ladder trucks so obviously there can't be 2 Ladder 9's so, its ladder 9-1 & 9-2... Josh (9-1 is started) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.town)
