Beautifully rendered model. Very realistic. Those ballon tyres are perfect
for this application. And it has steering! Excellent. I am a little
concerned about the ground clearance to the ladder though.

Does anyone know why TLC has never produced a farming theme? The playability
potential is quite high, and it's a nice peacable pastime. The toy ailses
are otherwise laden with farm playsets in cheap chinese plastic, but none in
Lego. I for one would like to see Lego sheep and cows and pigs. Apologies
for the thread drift (and if this has been done to death already).

Cheers,
Allister

Greetings,
I wanted to share a modern minifig-scale John Deere Tractor that I just
finished building. I've been working on some multiples of vehicles with the
intention of using them as loads on 8-wide flatbed cars for the G.M.L.T.C.
train layout. Now I have to duplicate this one and maybe I'll have to build
a companion shiny red Case IH tractor.

Wow, again kudos to whomever is moderating BrickShelf today, these pictures
passed inspection less than 60 seconds after I posted them...

(...) Allister, Thank you and everyone else for your kind words! I wasn't quite happy with the ground clearance of the ladder myself and have since redesigned the tractor with a higher cab. The last 3 pictures in the folder show off the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)
