  Man, I've seen this before from the front, but getting a closer look
  at it, it's wonderful!  The whites are a bit white--the klo really
  stands out--but that's only because the façade looks so very good in
  tan.  The use of a crater plate, which I hadn't noticed before, is
  an especially cool touch.

As for the white ... do you know how hard it is to stain porcelain?  Wait,
forget I even asked that (*shudder*).

And what, dare I ask, is a ... "klo"?  I feel like I may kick myself for not
picking up on this when I hear the answer, but I've been scratching my
head for a bit.

Wow, I haven't heard "klo" for an awfully long time. When I was a child, in
my family, (my parents spoke german to keep secrets, english the rest of the
time) it colloquially mean the actual porcelain toilet, or more generally,
the room that it was in.
