I posted a gallery of pictures of my European-style home with severe bomb or
fire damage.  The building ha(d) a shop on the ground floor, with proprietor
housing on the two floors above.  However, it seems that a grand mishap has
ravaged the structure, leaving it strewn with rubble and fallen walls:

In the last NELUG train show, the building made an appearance as a large
incendiary device for firemen to tackle:

You know, so many (& myself) make buildings intact, when something like this comes along we forget that they're made out of little pieces. I've never seen any "damaged" Lego creations before. It's a very unique, and great building! (22 years ago, 4-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

My first thought is a flashback to the scene in Saving Private Ryan where the heroes encounter the French family stranded in their ruined home (just before one of the heroes gets shot (...)
